The dictators are back, so much so that the thunder of their mighty tread will shake all the foundations! Welcome to a fast-paced, action-packed, spy-grand-mystery story featuring almost all of my Dictators. The story does not continue "directly" with any other book, but the number of references to past events literally rolls over. The plot was based on an idea that gnawed at me a long time ago, "slightly" manifested in the book "Where there are no birds", but taking root only now.

...The dragoness carefully examined the door, pressed her paw against it, and shifted her vision to the infrared range. For about a minute she watched the heat from her palm warm up the metal. Judging by the diffusion rate, the thickness of the door is about ten millimeters - quite a lot. Will the dragon cope with such an obstacle in one blow? Even such an amazingly trained dragon as Taiga, the multiple champion of Drakia in all types of martial arts?
There was only one way to check. Taiga left the lotus position and, throwing her tail over her shoulder, folded her wings as much as possible, interlocking the fingers of each hand with the main wing claw of the corresponding side. She slightly moved the received “double” paws, warming up and regulating her breathing. Throughout the body, from the base of the tail and above, along the spine, heat slowly spread, the rhythm of the heartbeat increased with every moment. A minute later, Taiga's body switched to modes beyond normal dragons, the pulse reached several hundred beats per minute, the blood rushed through the veins at an almost sonic speed. To saturate her with oxygen, the dragoness breathed spasmodically with her wide-open mouth, exhaling puffs of almost hot steam up to five times every second.
Sensing that even her uniquely developed body was nearing its physical limit, Taiga closed her eyes for a moment while concentrating in the A-Ki method and delivered a monstrous blow to the steel door, putting her entire two-ton mass into a deadly burst of energy compressed into a point. A dynamometer at that moment would show a peak pressure of ten to twelve thousand tons per square centimeter, more than many industrial hammers.
The metal could not withstand an attack capable of overturning a tank.

And something told me not to read Draco's works before bed...

      It's five. Brilliantly...

Z.Y. But it looks like the end of a cycle 🙁

it looks like the end of the cycle, but there will probably be more, 🙂

    • Black-Drako

do not forget about other continuums, Taiga only changed this one, and besides, there is also the past of this world where there was no such change

It is a masterpiece! Thanks Draco!

Hello Draco. Finally decided to read your story. Well, I confess, it's beautifully written, captivating from the very beginning.. but the idea of immortality, invented by Taiga, struck me, to put it mildly. I can't understand at all. what is the essence of it, and how can everyone in the universe be Immortal? after all, you created a very strange, somewhat gloomy and original world .. I hope that someday I will be able to study it closer) for that, let me bow, red dragon Alhann)

PS/ And Taiga is still a great Dragoness..

Hello, dear Drako! I've been into science fiction for quite some time. My acquaintance with your work began with the book “The Right to Fury” (in those days I saved money for a month to buy it). To my great regret, I was never able to find the continuation of the novel “The Wrath of the Dragon” in my area. Now, thanks to the Internet, I have read all your creations (it’s hard to call it anything else) that are freely available on the Internet. In the end, I can only say one thing:
Thank you for being. Thanks to you, I learned about REAL dragons. Not about monsters that knights hunt for glory; not about animals that live in caves, sleep on piles of treasures and kidnap fairy-tale princesses, but about a highly developed RACE of thinking creatures that are so similar to people. In which there are concepts of “love”, “kindness”. "compassion", "hatred", etc. All your books are MASTERPIECES. That's right, with a capital letter. Good luck in your creativity and look forward to new books!
Sincerely your fan of Bahamut, the king of dragons 🙂

Help - I read Right to Fury, Wrath of the Dragon, Black Sun Rising and Black Flame - what should I read next?

    • Alesha

IMHO this work came out ahead of time: because. there are no books in the cycle about the continuation of the stories of Ree, Hayate, Tiamat, Altair and Wing (his return).
It turns out the author spoiled these stories.

And besides, it is not clear where the Masons with their artifact, who managed to kidnap the dictator, have gone.

      Shocking story!
I just have a question: in the chronologically previous novel, A Time for Dragons, it says that dictators are 10,000 years old. However, there is a hint that there are only 1,000. Why is that?
