Mice & Mayhem

I rarely talk about this to anyone, but I am a longtime and loyal fan of the Chip and Dale series (or rather, its world and atmosphere). In 2007, I accidentally stumbled upon two wonderful sites dedicated to the Rescue Team - http://www.cdrrhq.ru AND http://www.cdrr.ru . Interestingly, many of the materials on the sites are not repeated, so it makes sense to study both.

However, now we are not talking about that ... But about the amazingly interesting, almost flawless work of the American Chris Fisher, a professional jazz musician who, with age, has not lost that part of his soul that is capable of falling in love with a painted mouse he saw 15 years ago. And although he is a jazz player by profession, not an artist, Chris Fisher created perhaps the most interesting and fascinating comic book I have ever seen. 231 pages. He drew comics for 3 years. And it turned out just incredible, although the plot, of course, is no longer childish - but we have grown up pretty much since 1992, haven't we?

Fisher's work impressed me so much (and liked it so much) that in five days I programmed the electronic shell for comfortable and quick reading of this comic. In addition, the site team http://www.cdrrhq.ru did a truly titanic job, translating 231 pages into Russian, and with the preservation of all the author's ideas - font, spelling, etc. The result is a miniature gift for all fans of the series - a stand-alone installer with a dynamic gallery, music, the ability to view pictures in any separate program (such as ACDsee), etc. I hope you will enjoy.

The archive contains an MSI installer that does everything automatically. If for some reason I don’t like my shell, all the pictures are open in the folder "Program Files/Mice and Mayhem/Content/Docs/Slides" - run ACDsee and go. (2010 Note: On 64-bit Windows - Program Files (x86) ) (2023 Note: 🙂)

I don’t know about you, but for me this comic has become a real time machine ... And the warmth in my soul has not yet passed. (Note 2010 - yes, still...) (Note 2023: ...and never will.)
