The Dragon. Six letters. Dozens of values. Hundreds of riddles. Thousands of legends. Myriad images. There are as many dragons in the world as there are people, because everyone has their own dragons. So why do we need another article? Where is the meaning?
I'll try to explain. There was once a wonderful children's song, called "The Little Prince", and there were words in it: the most important thing is not to scare a fairy tale. To the boundless world, open the windows ... Today it has become too fashionable to scare away fairy tales. Even scarecrows are specially dressed up. It would be funny if it weren't so scary.
I could (and tried more than once) say - people, change your mind. Do not turn fairy tales into reality, we need fairy tales, we must, we simply must believe in something brighter, purer, more holy than the world around us. A world that is real to the gnashing of teeth, to a bullet in the temple, to the powerless fury of an ant, aware of the size of the anthill.
But no, the passion to hunt dreams for many is irresistible. Put a dragon in front of them - the most beautiful, delightful, harmonious creation, a hymn to our ability to create - they will write a whole monograph about why this dragon cannot exist. They will painstakingly collect "myths" and "legends", not shunning anything, if only the "source" is more than a century old, or better - two, they will convene a scientific conference to find out how wrong the dragon sitting in front of them is and how it does not correspond to the mentioned myths, they will eventually decide to simply dissect the dragon, wanting to prove that it is not a dragon at all...
And the only thing they will not notice is how the dragon, having cast a sad look at them, will silently spread its wings and fly away. Forever. It's stuffy for dragons when the windows aren't open.
However, such a lyrical introduction makes little sense (they won’t understand anyway), and even fewer points of contact with the topic of the article: modeling a fairly realistic dragon, i.e. one that you can believe in without sacrificing common sense. It's strange - how, after all that has been said above, can I "ground down" a fairy tale myself and try to give it realism? But the fact is that texts for the blind must be written in Braille. Anyone who sees colors will understand everything himself, and my article is for those who distinguish between “red” and “green” by the convexly printed absorption spectrum.
