When I wrote the articleMyth Raiders”, I believed that its meaning was to come up with the most realistic and consistent scenario in which dragons are intelligent, winged, and live in friendship with all the inhabitants of the planet, including people. But, as it soon became clear, people simply do not want to live in a world with dragons. Their fantasy is not enough to imagine that another race - especially one so similar to "beasts" - can have a soul, pride, courage and reason; and even more so, people are not able to accept the fact that dragons are not obliged, do not want and will not behave "like animals."
